Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you ask Sooner Locksmith for locksmith work, whether you call us, text us or use the callback form on this website.

Booking and availability
We serve Miami and the nearby communities of Miami-Dade and south Broward. A booking is only confirmed once we have your location, the work needed and a phone number, and we have agreed a price with you. We can decline a job, or leave one, where we cannot safely or legally carry it out.
Quotes, estimates and prices
The figures on our prices page are typical ranges to help you budget, not a binding quote. Your binding price is the flat price we confirm with you on the phone before a technician is dispatched.
If what the job needs changes once we are on site, we stop, explain the change and the new price, and only continue with your agreement. Nothing extra is charged without you approving it first.
Arrival times
Arrival estimates are based on traffic, distance and the jobs already ahead of yours. They are estimates, not guaranteed times. If we are going to be later than the window we gave you, we call you with a fresh estimate.
Proof of ownership or residence
For your security and ours, we ask for photo identification and proof that you own, rent or are authorised to be at the property. For vehicle work, we ask for registration or another document showing the vehicle is yours or you are permitted to use it. If we cannot verify this, we will not carry out the work.
What we cannot guarantee
- Some locks are damaged, jammed or fitted with anti-snap hardware and can only be opened by drilling, which destroys the lock.
- Keys cut from a code depend on the manufacturer's tolerances and may need the lock or the key adjusted to work perfectly.
- Old, rusted or security hardware may need replacing rather than repairing.
- We cannot be responsible for a lock that fails after we leave because it was already worn or was tampered with.
Payment
Payment is due in full when the work is finished, before the technician leaves. If you need an invoice for a business job, tell us before we start and we will issue one.
Cancellations and visits that cannot go ahead
If you cancel after a technician is already on the way, or we arrive and cannot reach you or get access to the property (for example a locked gate, an unsafe area, or an address that turns out to be wrong), the agreed callout fee still applies. We always tell you the callout fee before dispatch so this is never a surprise.
If something we fitted fails
If work we carried out fails because of our workmanship, tell us and we will come back and put it right at no charge for that labour. Parts and locks remain covered by their manufacturer's warranty where one applies.
Your side
Please keep your keys, access codes and property secure, tell us about anything that affects the job (pets on site, alarms, parking restrictions, shared walls), and stay reachable while we are on the way.
Liability
We take care with your property and your security. To the fullest extent Florida law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost income, a missed flight, or the cost of a replacement item that was not in our control. Our liability for a job is limited to the price paid for that job. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Florida law and disputes
These terms are governed by Florida law. Most issues are settled with one phone call, and we ask you to raise a concern with us first so we can put it right. If a claim remains, it will be handled in the courts serving Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business changes. The version published on this page applies to work booked while it is published.
